When I was little I had this pink dress that I just wore all the time. I adored it. It was pale pink and the softest of cottons. It eventually became worn and threadbare, so much so, that my mum threw it away. I was devastated and have never forgotten it. When I completed this painting it reminded me of that dress- the same colour, the worn edges and all the happy memories that came with it.
This painting is painted on a cradled wood panel and framed with a natural wood float frame and has a hanging wire attached, ready to hang.
