Generational Patterns is part of the 'When We Were Very Young' series of work.
Layers of paint and collage are built up as part of the process I use in my work. Linking to the past, memories and nostalgia, I have used fragments of dress patterns in this painting- these remind me of the dresses my mum used to make for me when I was little.
Acrylic, image transfer, vintage collage & varnish on cradled wood panel, set in a bespoke wooden frame.
Hanging wire on back to hang.
