Incorporating old dress patterns in my work reminds me of the ones my mum used to use when I was little. She would make all my dresses for me and I wonder what I would have worn otherwise. Nowadays, the majority of my wardrobe contains dresses and I'm sure it's because of my love for wearing the ones my mum used to make.
